Default Family in Tooele Area

We have family members that live in Tooele and they love it!
Loves the quiet country feel.
Wishes there was a Costco.
Tooele has a new Super Wal-Mart and a Home Depot.
The people are friendly.
Say Junior High and High School is rough.
Both families that live in Tooele home school.
There homes were built by Fieldstone and they are happy with them.
A friend has a home built by Richmond that they are happy with, but they just moved in last week, and I think it takes a year to find out if you have any bugs/problems.
Property (homes) values are better in Stansbury and Erda.
I hope this was helpful.

I would get a rusty pickup first! Haha JK I've heard Toolele is a nice place, but if I worked in SLC and had any money I would live on the East Side of Salt Lake near the mountains. Standsbury park and Erda are nicer places to live.

I know many wonderful people who live in Tooele and Erda who are healthy and who absolutely love the area. I would not live there if my life depended on it, I'm already too close! In the 60's-70's my father's good friend checked on rabbits that were set up in a perimeter around one of the goverment's facilities. He wore protective gear everyday. His job was to see if the rabbits were alive (this was their alert system that a hazardous leak had occured). If they were dead he put the animals in a container and and took them in to be analyzed. That man drove over Parley's Canyon every day because he said that he woudn't live any closer to Tooele.
Just so you know I am very concerned about the environment but I am far from an activist. Before you move there here is some vital information that may interest you to know.
see www.cwwg.org/tooeledowns.htlm (broken link) and see how many releases have occured at the Chemical Weapons Incinerator.
