Thanks ladies!

The black girl is my new one. She's probably a lab/whippetX, about 40lbs. The brown dog is my 100lb rottX. She has decided SHE is in charge of him...drives my H crazy!

I'm still here. Does that count?
I've been hanging out in other forums.
I get so tired of all the lds/non-lds stuff all the time. I've given up on the threads here pretty much, although I have been following the "happy out of slc" one. That's good for a few laughs. Ya all gave him quite a boot in the pants!!!!

I also started a new job about 2 months ago, so that keeps me busy. It also helps with the "adapting" to life here issues that I have/had(?). I finally feel settled in here, and that's a good thing.

VC Dreamer - there you are!
I agree, so over the non-lds, lds threads, that I started checking out other forums...real estate mainly. We are about to close on a house in St. George on Wednesday in fact. So we fly out tomorrow.

How are you liking Utah. A job does help. I was so depressed here in Oklahoma being away from my kids and doing nothing, that I got a job about 6 months ago and it has made such a difference.

Could I asked you all to introduce yourselves? Or are there too many of you?

Wow, a house in St. G??? Good for you!

Yeah, a job does really make a difference. Things are easier to deal with, when you're not focused on them 24/7. I'm pretty much accustomed to Utah now. Some things really bother me, but they're not things that will ever change, like parents still letting their kids out unsupervised, and way too little....but other than that it's ok.

So, tell me about this house of yours, and when are planning on moving???

Katzpur, I'm VC dreamer. The VC stands for Virginia City, Nevada which is the place I totally love. I live in Utah county, and have only been in Utah for 2 years now. Before that I lived in SoCal, so I guess you could say I'm a newbie to Utah.

Katzpur - I am a chick and my name is Rae. I don't think there are too many of us since everyone has disappeared...ha ha. I am from Utah, but moved to Oklahoma a year and a half ago because I married someone from here. Are you a Utah native?

VC - the reason St. George is my dh said he will move anywhere I want as long as there is no snow. My kids are all in northern Utah, so wanted to get back closer to them. However, we are not moving to St. George for 3 years. The house is really cute and is in Coral Canyon development. We have been looking since last July. This is our 5th attempt at a house that is a "short sale".
We are pretty excited.
