salaam aleikum, people.

how're things on this sunny sunday?

i'm tired. we finished pulling out the old fence in our back yard, so now nothing separates our neighbors from our insanity. i also finished digging the trench from the pond into the grass (the former owners had dug a pond right up next to the foundation of the house, and even though they dumped tons of cement into the thing, it still leaks). now i have blisters from working a pick axe all day.

we had our party last night. thirty people rsvp'ed. over sixty showed up. it was a lot of fun though. i of course supplied the party with the requisite mountain dew–in honor of my late grandpa (he was a mountain dew fanatic).

we even had a fire in the backyard to make smores, until one of the toddlers tripped and almost fell into the firepit. with that many kids running around, we decided that smores would have to wait till later.

now i am facing another week of final projects and general idiocy in the form of formal education.

aaron out.

incidentally, in my last post, when i wrote about working a pick axe, i spelled it as one word, and it ends up censored as: *****xe. so, anyone more creative and resourceful than i am know in what language p i c k a is a curse word or a vulgarity?
