I'm thinking the swamp cooler will have to be on in a day or two! However, I am not suffering from allergies to I couldn't be happier!

Where do you live at, because I thought that it doesn't get very hot with the dry air and less humidity.

Gosh, I wish I knew what Hot feels like in Utah. lol Because, here it is hard to breathe. It takes your breath away and you sweat really bad. It sucks. lol I have only been in Utah in the winter. I remember going outside in a sweatshirt when it was 30 degrees out. And I was comfortable. Here, you have to bundle up.

my swamp cooler isn't even hooked up yet; i have to go fix the hose today and see if it is working.

It's pretty nice here today too. 78 degrees and not really humid at all. Last week however, I might as well have been on the coast it was so bad!

LoL, isn't that the truth?

I am from the E coast, lived in Fla and SC, so I am very familiar w/humid! Ugh, no thanks!

I love the dry heat. You can be outside and in the shade and be comfortable. At my mom's in SC, if you walk to the mailbox you need a shower. Then when you get out of the shower, you don't know when you are "dry"!

Honestly though, it did take a while to adjust to it. Our first few months here I went through tons of vaseline, using it on my skin and in my nose! We couldn't drink enough water, and I got worn out pretty quickly doing anything physical outside.
