One of my close friends actually just moved back to Texas from Parowan. She talks nothing but good about this area. She and her husband ran what she says is "the only dairy" in Parowan. She says that there is so much to do within a couple of hours. All her pictures are beautiful and it makes me want to live there. What are the good and bads of this area?

Nice, small, and pretty. A lot of homes for sale right now at a pretty good price. Seems they are having some water issues right now. For one, the older places downtown do not get enough pressure to water a lawn. Would most likely need to commute to Cedar City for employment.

How far is Cedar City?

Water pressure shouldn't be a problem, especially if you are using a well, right?

Cedar is maybe 20 miles south on I-15. Very pretty small town nestled at the base of mountains, gateway to BrianHead, a popular ski area. If I remember correctly, most homes are on a city well. The old irrigation culverts still run by homes and you divert that with little gates to water lawns and gardens. It is also the county seat for Iron County.
