Hi my name is Decontee i'm 18 African american student planning to go to LDS it a little closer than Univ. Alaska-anchroage,fairbanks but i'm applying to all of them I live in jacksonville, florida and the mormans i know are eally sweet people even to non- mormans iis it because the main temple is in the town so the rules are very strict but I wanted to know would it be a good move

It sounds like it might be a good adventure for you. Utah is a very beautiful state and if you like the outdoors you will love it here. Your plan to go to the LDS Business college here I think would be a very good idea. I think you would most likely have a wonderful experience and make a lot of great friends.

I agree. A friend of mine is married to an African American girl and she loves SLC. It just depends on your state of mind. I could be happy a number of different places as long as I had my own life in order.

I don't know much about the college, but I think you would probably like the area in general. And yes, it's closer (and warmer!) than Alaska. Might be easier to ease out of those Florida temperatures? :-)
