Ooh. I don't know what the time would be, exactly, but I do know that even though you'd be going against traffic for much of the way, you'd be going with the rush hour to get into the city, since you would be north of SLC, and there are serious traffic problems on the north end of the valley, worse than the south end, I think. And the south end's no picnic. But every morning when I check the traffic report, they show slow and go from Ogden to Salt Lake.

Going earlier helps a little, but my husband used to go early (5:30 am) to beat the traffic, and everyone else started getting the same idea, and pretty soon it was almost as bad as the regular rush hour time, so I don't know what the solution is.

Oh sorry, I wasn't clear. We live south of salt lake, so our commute times would be different from yours, but either direction, the rush hour is starting earlier and earlier. For your drive to your interview I'd probably give it at least an hour and a half, possibly two hours. It takes us about an hour and fifteen minutes to get from the point of the mountain to Ogden (in normal traffic). So I wouldn't go any shorter than 1 1/2 hrs at the bare minimum.
