I am taking the family to Midway for a little get away from the Arizona heat over the 1st week of July, and have been looking for info on activities/fireworks for the immediate area. Also, what type if any of fireworks are allowed, is there a fireworks display on the 4th, good restaraunts in the area, etc.....
I also remember a dirt road from the Midway area over to Cascade Springs, is this road still accessable for a 2 wheel vehicle? I would appreciate any help in these areas, Thanks

Park City is only a few miles away from Heber and Midway. Some of the finest restaurants in Utah are located there. Someone else more familiar with the area would have to comment on the festivities and dirt road.

Default 4th of July in Midway

There are fireworks at 10:00pm at Memorial Hill which is right downtown Midway and can be seen from just about anywhere in or around town. They are really quite good for a small town. I don't know much about what is okay for personal fireworks, but I doubt that you can do much as it is very dry this year. Cascade Springs is accessable from a dirt road by car, bike, atv etc. and although the water is lower than usual it is still quite beatiful. There are some great resteraunts around; The Mountain House in Midway is very good and comfortable, casual dress. Zermat resort has a good little bistro type place and a buffet place as well that is very good. For a burger The Main Street Station is good but has weird hours, and The Dairy Keen in Heber is excellent for burgers, shakes, etc. Homestead Resort also is a good choice. There aren't too many bad places around the Midway/Heber area. HOpe you all have fun!
