We drove through Moab on Memorial day and they seemed to be building what looked to be future townhouses not too far from downtown. There were also some newer homes popping up.

Moab has always been a place for outdoor FUN! My friends always went down there to Mountain Bike on the "slick rock". It is kinda out in the middle of no-where, but the red rock surrounding the area is heaven to me. Most of the people are tourists, but the majority of the people that live there full time appear to be more like hippies. It's a charming town, but if you are used to and want a city lifestyle this is probably not the place for you. I love to visit moab, but I don't know if I would want to live there.
