The only reason I am being a little bit of a pain is because I dont want to be the total "odd" ball in the neighborhood, thats all.
I mean I get along with all but sometimes others are not so kind.

Along the Wasatch Front, Salt Lake would be your best bet for finding Catholics in your neighborhood. I lucked out when I bought my twin home. I'm connected to a Catholic family.

Spanish Fork is pretty small. My niece and her family live there. They're LDS. Not sure about the number of Catholics there.

I grew up in Orem....about 40 miles south of Salt Lake and 3 towns north of Spanish Fork. Our Catholic church (and there was only one back then) was in Provo. I say "was" because that parish has relocated to guess where? Yup, Orem. It's funny. The church is about 5 blocks from where I grew up.

yeah, i love that building. we used to take tours of the place when i was in the young men/women program as a kid.

you will certainly find more catholics if you stay north of nephi or so, but that doesn't mean that you won't find good places to live south of there. if the little mormon-villes scare you, try spring city (though that is more artsy-fartsy than catholic), or some of the larger areas down by st george or roundabouts.

good luck.

I live in Price, UT and I am Catholic, but I don't think Price is a town you're looking for. The population is only about 8,000. It's about 120 miles south of Salt Lake.

I have heard that about 1/3 of the population in this area is Catholic, but I've only met 2 people who are in my year and a half of living here, besides the people I see at church anyway.

Just an observation I've had too is that a lot of the population of the Catholic church here is of the Hispanic descent. The church here is so tiny. I grew up in a place that I think was predominately Catholic, so that's a little weird for me.

Well I am looking for a smaller town. Coming from the East coast, I am tired of "Big".

It's not for everyone, but I like it. It's only an hour from Provo for good shopping. Walmart and Kmart is about all we have here.
