Stansbury gets the inversion just as the rest of the valley does. My daughter and husband also have asthma. My daughter's is not severe, and my husband's has gotten better as he has gotten older. Really, other than living up in Park City, Heber, Eden, ect. I don't know if you are going to find an area in SLC WITHOUT inversion.

That being said, Stansbury is a great place to live! I have lived here for 7 years now, so if you have any questions...

I live in Tooele for 19 years and let me tell you as soon as high school was out so was I. No ones parents would let me play with their kids cause I was not Mormon. I only had a handful of friends my whole time there. People were very judgmental. However, Tooele is not half as bad as Utah County. On a lighter note. Tooele is pretty. It has a huge race track between Tooele and Grantsville. There are plenty of places to eat. Good proximity to SLC, I got from downtown tooele to downtown SLC in about 45 mins.

We are not mormon, but my girls have never had that trouble at all. They have a nice mix of mormon and non mormon friends.

Default Tooele

There are people that want to talk about the toxic work that is being done in the Tooele County area. I work at the facility that is destroying the military stock pile and I feel very comfortable working there. The work is carefully monitored and extremely secure. As for Dugway, this is the facility that is working to help protect the lives of Americans by working to find ways to overcome these threats.
Part of the protection that is in place is the TCEM (Tooele County Emergency Management) and is prepared for disasters in the county. It is one of the best prepared counties in the nation.
The Tooele Valley is a wonderful place to live. We moved here almost 3 years ago and really enjoy the area.
