Hi Everyone,
I'm currently a student at a small community college in a small town in Arizona. This summer I'm moving to the Payson/Provo area of Utah because I decided to transfer to UVU. I'll be living with my Aunt so I won't need to worry about rent but I need to find a fulltime job to cover what money I need for school. I haven't had any luck finding a job down here in Arizona and I really need to find a job to pay for school because I am avoiding student loans because I simply do not trust them. My question is how is the job market in Utah county. I plan on working full time this summer and then part time during the school year and becoming a resident of Utah to get the tuition discount so I am willing to pay out of state tuition for a year and go through the residency process which is why I need a full time job this summer. I'm getting a pell grant which covers about half of what I need for out of state tuition I just need to earn the other half. So how is the job market in Utah County?

Well it's a metro of over 500,000k so there's plenty of jobs, if you're just looking for anything / something casual. Unemployment rate is around 6 percent, well below the national average right now.

I have but the Pell Grant only will only cover about half my tuition per semester for the year as I am not a Utah resident so I need to earn the other half this summer. I believe its doable as its only around $5000 that I need to earn this summer.
