ksl.com - Scientist: Southern Utah valley sinking

If I lived near there, I would be alarmed. That's a big drop in not so many years. Kind of brings home the issue with Nevada wanting water from the western side of UT. Makes the farmers and others protesting seem justified.

Well I don't know about the Nevadan's water wishes, but the article by Associated Press is based out of Cedar City.

If you look on Trulia.com, an R.E. search engine that allows you to cap the square footage of a home you will find that there are 929 homes on 62 pages available in the Cedar City area.

If you cut the search to homes 2,000 square feet or less it cuts it dowm to 160 homes on 11 pages.

That means there are 769 homes on 52 pages that are over 2,000 square feet.

Now large homes can have as many as four bathrooms, which in turn can have four toilets.

Which would make many of the residents..."Fourflushers".....

I'll risk the red ink in the name of shedding some very important light on what appears to be a rather serious situation...LOL
