I'm getting ready to move to Tooele (Maples of Tooele townhomes) and is there really no high speed internet? I've heard 512k from Dish Network but there has to be a faster alternative.

I truly appreciate any help I can find on this.
Thanks!

The vendor in Tooele county is "Beehive Wireless". It works via hardwire in some areas, and by dish in more remote areas. That is the only option I'm aware of. I am not sure if Comcast is out that way, but that would be another if they are.

Thanks! I will check into that because I love the location and place I will be living but coming from a large city with high speed that is something I can't live without.

I am pretty sure there is also Comcast also. Beehive Wireless is top notch though, so do make sure you check into that!

Welcome to Tooele!!

We checked with Comcast and they're not available for our unit.

Thanks, though we're not there just yet. I'm back in AZ waiting for loan process to finish.

Eh, probably better that way. I have heard they are overpriced and the customer service lacks bigtime. I think there is another option too, but I can't remember it off the top of my head. I will check and post again as soon as I find it.

You could always use Qwest too and I know that Verizon offers high speed internet.

I will keep these in mind, DH also found Sky Wire Communications. He's going to grill them for info tomorrow and go from there. I hate waiting for loan stuff.
