Ok, I have asked a couple of questions about Utah already and the surrounding areas and we have settled on Tooele... mainly because we at least know people there.

Any news about this place? I am originally from So. Cal (and now living in Vegas) and I am sure it will be a bit of a shock.

But just the quick run down, we are pagan, I am a tarot reader and herbalist by trade and homeschool our son. My husband will be finishing up school in Salt Lake and will be a massage therapist. We aren't going out there to convert anyone ourselves, so it's not like we will move into town and be THE PAGANS ARE HERE - and I sure there are other pagans in Utah! LOL

But can you let us know what to expect?

Also, I can't seem to find any information about apartments there. Does anyone know where to look? The local paper or something?

There doesn't happen to be a Starbucks in town, is there?

Thanks

Rohana

No Starbucks unfortunately, although Tooele does have a drive thru coffee joint called Janna's Java that's pretty decent and at the prices they charge you'll feel like you are drinking Starbucks.

I think the best place you can look for apartments is the local paper, which can be found at Tooele Transcript Bulletin On-line There are many houses that people rent out that can be affordable, if you find the right one.

Good luck!

I'm suprised that you picked Tooele. You may actually be the only Pagan's there...lol... I know that my husband and I are the only Pagan's in our neighborhood in Herriman/Riverton. We keep our view to ourselves and fit in just fine. We are in the process however of selling our home to move to Syracuse. There is a great church there - Unitarian Universalist Church of Ogden, and we wanted somewhere to attend with our young daughter. I hope you find support and an open minded neighborhood. Best of luck!
