My son, nearly 19, is moving to Vancouver with a room mate and will be looking for an entry level job, easy to commute to on public transportation. He will eventually enroll in the Junior College up there, but looking for an income to help with rent, food, etc until then. If you have ideas of good places to look in the area, please let me know. We have never been to the city, so I am helping him research as much as possible. He has worked at Starbucks for the last 8 months and other entry level positions.

Stick with Starbucks (benefits), and try to get a job at the new "Grand central Market" area, Fred Meyer or similar. Decent area, can walk / bike to Clark College / Ft Vancouver area.
Fred Meyer - Vancouver, WA
