Auto Insurance will be in 2 categories
Liability (if you damage somone) - MANDATORY ~ $400/ yr depending on your risk level. (Male much higher risk than female)
Comprehensive (if you and anyone else damages your car (or theft / fire...) OPTIONAL (your choice) I never carry Comprehensive, but I don't have a car worth $5000.
I use AL Insurance in Hazel Dell, as they are brokers and can tailor to your need. (they represent may insurance companies).
