Do both Vancouver and seattle generally receive the same amount of rain year round? I don't like how seattle is super rainy now (October). I wish to maybe relocate somewhere that has a less rainy winter. I don't mind if it drizzles, but I hate this constant, hard rain. Would Vancouver be better? Also, does Vancouver get more sunshine than seattle? also, on threads I look at, all I'm seeing is people talk about Vancouver's "harsh" winters and lovely summers. What about the other 2 seasons?

Basically Same Climate... +/- a few rainy days.
"Rain" is relative, only at first and last of season does it RAIN. drizzle for 200 days... Both places
Shoulder seasons are SHORT in PNW We_tside (can be rainy, can be hot, but they may only be a few weeks)

SUNSHINE and WA is not very good odds (even the less rainy areas of PNW are gray in winter).

Best bet to stay in WA and have better weather, is Wenatchee, or White Salmon, WA. (or tri Cities / Walla Walla)

Sun in winter = CA, NV, UT, AZ, NM, CO. Choose your poison, no place is perfect (except San Diego... potential fires in rural areas). I rode my bike to work everyday but 3, the last yr I lived in Colorado. (some days were chilly and skiff of snow)

or... FL (ick)
