Hi Everyone - My wife and I are moving to the Vancouver area at the end of July. We'll need a furnished 2-bathroom place to live for a couple of months. We're retired, easy tenants. No pets. Can anyone help, please?

I would check with a rental agency but don't expect a large selection of furnished units.

See if you can get a guest house / ST rental from elderly couple, or house sit for someone who is traveling. (worked for my SIL for 40 yrs... no need for a house... just house / pet sit.)

We rented an apartment on a month to month basis, and we also rented furniture until we got ours. I can recommend People's Furniture
People's Furniture Rental They were easy to deal with and the guys who brought our furniture, and then moved it to our house, and then moved it out of our house, did everything as planned, and were cheerful and efficient.
If you rent an apartment, you will get a washer/dryer. At least we did. You will not get air conditioning, however.

Also consider VRBO or HomeAway. We rented a home through VRBO when we first moved here and it was a lifesaver.

I'll be looking for the same next month. Driving across country a year early due to the untimely death of my best friend. Planned on living in his house for another year.
