I don't mean "just high test scores"...but high parent involvement and good reputation overall as a good experience for kiddos!!

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Any particular part of Vancouver? East? West? Felida? Salmon Creek? Just Vancouver or surrounding towns too?

There are many good elementary schools, can you help us narrow it down a bit?

The answer usually is, Camas. But frankly, you will find excellent schools in all the towns you mentioned. Compared to so many other states (with major illegal immigration problems, non-English speakers, etc.) Washington has truly excellent schools and engaged parents.

Frankly about 90% of your child's experience in elementary school depends on the individual teacher. I expect all the schools in the Vancouver area have mostly good teachers and probably all of them have a few teachers who are slowing down and starting to phone it in. Niche ratings are interesting to read because they have lots of parent reviews. But generally speaking the most affluent areas will have the greatest parental involvement. But that is the case everywhere in the country, not just Vancouver.
