We are looking for an area in or near Vancouver that has good air & water quality. Good well water in the area would be great. We would like a place or area that we could have a parcel of 1/2 acre or more as we raise chickens and have several pets (cats). Would also like any recommendations for a good, honest realtor in the area.

Please advise us on what area of Vancouver you prefer, (Work, Schools, commute, healthcare, shopping, entertainment, clubs, sports...)
What soil types / weather do you want? Clark County ranges from 37" to 120" rain / yr. Temps / cold spots / trapped air / windy... Soils from rock, clay, silty loam. (Important if you want to garden)
Aquifier has been polluted by chroming / dry cleaners near North and South Vancouver.
Air quality varies with the wind / rainfall.... Some areas have significant wind.
SWWA Clean air board has all the county stats on Air Quality.

Remember that we are ALL downwind from a very dirty coal plant in Boardman, OR. (Scheduled to be closed in future). We are also very subject to air pollution / acid rain from China and Koreas.
