I'm new to the area and, if it's possible, I'd like to buy a gift certificate for a boat rental as a Christmas gift - maybe on Lacamas Lake or similar? Just a small boat for fishing or trekking around for a few hours. I can't seem to locate a place that rents out this type of boat. Any suggestions?

There are a variety of places that rent canoes and kayaks in the Portland area. Google will bring them up. But I think they tend to be more summer-oriented and may not be doing much this time of the year.
