Does anyone know if there are any good locations in WA, within a 2 hour drive to Portland, that are RV compatible communities (not manufactured home parks, this would be more for recreation use), where you can own your own lot to park an RV for summer vacations? The RV would be left for extended periods of time during the winter, so it would need to be in an area that isn't isolated, or in some sort of RV community.

This situation is possible on the Long Beach Peninsula, but I'm wondering if there is anything closer to Vancouver/Portland?

Lost Lake RV Resort - Home - Lost Lake RV Resort, Your Washington RV Getaway!

There's also one going in near Elma. I don't know if they're selling yet or not but the owner has another development in the Palm Springs area. DM me if you want more details ...although I don't have that much info.

Check out Lake Merwin Campers Hideaway in Amboy Washington. It's about 50 minutes from Vancouver. Dues are less than $1000/year and the setting is unbelievable. www.lmch.com
