Hello,

So we have been looking at houses in Camas since the past 1.5 months. Have given few offers all in range of $500-600k (and all above list prices) but it seems to be a seller's market even in Oct - Nov!
(One seller's agent told me if we had removed the inspection clause, seller would have given us the house for instance, but did not allow us to rebid)

It seems SE Vancouver (around Fisher's landing) has multiple houses available.. We are still trying Camas specifically for the SD, but considering the new developments from Lennar, Pacific homes, DR Horton are not under Camas SD (even though they are within Camas city), wondering does it make sense to stay in that area vis-a-vis checking out SE Vancouver.

Thoughts appreciated.
Abhi

I haven't really been paying attention but I think you are right about the market. There was a home on my street that went for sale about 2 weeks ago and the "'pending" sign went up at the same time as the actual real estate sign. Beautiful house, would be a good one to snatch up if the sale falls through.

Quick look at zillow doesn't show that much in your price range. This is probably the nicest one in Holly Hills: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2...23302659_zpid/

Yeah visited this house when they were supposed to have an open house only to find out that the open house did not materialize since roof replacement took time and agent did not update the online portals

This is one good area and two of the houses we bid were in this neighbourhood.
