It was super convenient when I was recently in Portland and had to unexpectedly do a video call for work late at night. But why is this specific Starbucks open so much later than any of the other ones in the PNW? Is it just in the perfect location to get a large volume of customers but not a lot of homeless people?

Iirc, there is something unique about that particular location.

Maybe it is a franchise, instead of a corporate owned store. The difference was something along that line.

You could always just ask them if you are curious. I doubt any of us will know the answer.
