Hi - I have yet another question about a neighborhood referred to as Andresen, around NE 62nd Ave, Vancouver? Does anyone know anything about the safety, character of that area?

thank you!

No answer? Does anyone live in Vancouver or did they all get scared and run away? Just kidding but I am interested to know as well as I am contemplating living there.

Maybe you mean 63rd ST? (62nd Ave and Andreson run parallel)

Seems the robbers (druggies) seem to like the Safeway Pharmacy in that neighborhood (twice in a week). Overall the area is not so bad,

The nearby area is pretty varied, thanks to the great land use planning of Clark County (apartments mobile homes / to mini farms all intermingled). I had a Fruit Farm that was about 3 minutes from there. I had to leave, as the new apartment dwellers were not keen on my farming practices, and I was tired of fighting with the county planners.

Should be able to get crime stats and more info here and at sheriff's site.
Neighborhood associations directory - Neighborhood Outreach Program - Clark County Washington

That area was commonly known as "Walnut Grove", back before Clark County 'blossomed'.

(i.e. got too big for its britches)
