So we were at our cousins' house for dinner in Coquitlam, and were going back to Vancouver. Took Hwy 7 south to connect to Hwy 1 west... damn! Ramp closed. Going Hwy 1 east and crossed the bridge before turning back on 146th in Surrey.

Got home and my dad wasn't home yet. Turned out my uncle also went Hwy 1 east and turned back on 146th to Hwy 1 west. And he goes up there every month.

What the hell is happening to Vancouver roads?! All the major highways are forever in repair, and that particular interchange (Hwy 7 south to Hwy 1 west) must have been under repair for over a decade! You cannot travel 5 minutes without seeing an orange cone or detour sign.

Geez...
