we're planning on a weeklong trip to Vancouver during the 2010 olympics......What can we expect during that time as far as hotel prices? what is a good area to book hotels in?

I haven't actually looked into accommodation prices and availability, but I would imagine prices will be premium and rooms scarce.

Maybe try a site like Expedia to get an idea of hotel rankings, prices and availability.
