I havent watched the movie but the one that made me go vegetarian (and now vegan) was "Meet your meat". After i watched it i was devastated, i couldnt stop crying. It was so sad.
Does this movie actually show animals getting slaughtered? I can't watch that stuff.....

That movie was actually what made me choose to eat far less meat and dairy (I"m not fully veggie/vegan, I'm just eating far less animal products).

I liked it and just started a vegan diet with no gluten. I also watched one called, "Future of Foods". How can you have patents on plants? Such a smurfed up world.

This is the first movie I saw and liked it a lot. I drink the very juice he makes in the movie.

After that I watched Forks over Knives. Very educational. I'm not vegan, 70% vegetarian and 90% healthy eating. On top of that read the pH Miracle and things on acid/alkaline diet. You'd be surprised at all the garbage on the market that we eat.

How about Super Size Me? LOL, nothing to do with being a vegetarian or omnivore but a great watch. There are people out there that eat that garbage at least once a day if not more. It has been my best decision since quitting fast food. But I am back tracking a bit and not going full out vegan but vegetarian.

I watched Super Size Me with my kids and they thought it was unrealistic because no one eats fast food every day. But I have several coworkers who bring in a McDonalds bag of breakfast every morning with them and go to McDonalds again for lunch. Every. Single. Day. Even if they eat healthy for dinner every evening that still means two MickeyD's meals a day.

Loved Forks Over Knives - I really don't care that it wasn't entertaining - it was life changing for my husband and me.

Hey cattnap, watch Fat, sick and nearly dead and also Food Matters (both have almost 5 out of 5 stars). Both are on netflix and I found them more entertaining than FOK.

I have watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead - loved it - it was quite entaining....as a result, we ordered a Vitamix blender - it should be here any day.
