i m not hundred percent vegan of veggie. I notice I feel a lot better and healtier now that cut down on eating meat. I may have a little here an there but never a large amount I do eat a lot of fish, eggs, dairy, veggies fruits nuts.
To the OP... My daughter turned Vegan over a year ago. She is healthier than she's been in several years. The previous two winters she caught colds and flu when they were going-around but this last winter though she was exposed to both she only got a scratchy throat once and never becamse sick.
She feels better and is walking and jogging more than once, most days, mows and edges their lawn, etc.
She does tire of well-meaning relatives or friends that suggest she's "too thin." No, she is not. She ate in a healthy manner and this is the weight that her body chose. She did not restrict calories. She has found some excellent Vegan recipes for cookies and cupcakes, for example. She is not denying herself pleasures.
