Our Kroger stores carry Beyond Burger but they are stocked in the fresh meat case, not with the rest of the meatless products. So unless you know where to look you might not find them.

I had to ask the store manager, and I said that many vegans wouldn’t ever see them there because they would have no reason to be shopping in the fresh meat case. The reason they are stocked there is that many non-vegetarians eat them instead of hamburgers. So that might explain why Beyond Burgers are so often out of stock.

Beyond burger sounds awful to me since it seems to be marketed as feeling and tasting the most like meat (as stated, NOT what I want in a veggie burger) but with so many rave reviews I might try it anyway some time, but the way you cook it.

At the moment, I've been eating Morningstar quinoa patties, but I tend to switch it up every once in awhile.

There has been a supply and demand issue world wide, which is annoying, but greater demand is a good thing! They have been working on a new production facility so hopefully they'll be caught up.

I've always found them at Whole Foods.

I actually started a thread in the main Food & Drink forum so I won't repeat much here but to say I went to White Castle & had an "Impossible Slider" which is a vegan version of the Impossible Burger which I suspect has been mentioned already in this thread. Similar to Beyond Meat at Whole Foods in that it is a Silicon Valley tech approach to vegan foods.

It was good enough that I definitely see myself going to WC & just ordering this quite happily, I realized that this is distinct from White Castle's Vegan Slider & only available in a few places now.

My favorite is Trader Joe's Hi-Protein Veggie Burger. It tastes good, is vegan and has 26 grams of protein.

Sainsbury's Smoked Jalapeno burgers.

I also like Linda McCartney's Vegetarian ¼lb. burgers, although they have onion in, which I'd rather they didn't. Linda McCartney's Mozzarella burgers are good, and without onion. The worst thing about them is the lack of saliva-inducing smell while you're cooking them. Otherwise, as long as I have a tasty sauce to put on them, they're fine.

The Impossible Burger is vegan, there is no vegan version of it because vegan is the only version.

Kind of a hodge- podge of things I had on hand - potato pancakes with warm apple compote, cottage cheese with chives and dill, cucumber radish and celery salad.
