anyone here have any dish recipes for the meatless vegan jerky called Primal Strips?

I tried the Texas BBQ flavor and I had to look at the package again to make sure it wasn't real meat. I normally don't care for faux meat but these are really tasty and I like the texture.

I'm going to do a vegetarian meal for my parents who are carnivores. I'd like to do a dish using these. Any ideas?

Yeah, and there is no meat in them so they are fine. [MOD CUT/off topic] I did all the "research" I need to know it's fine to eat.

1. It tastes really good
2. it has no meat.

Case closed.

I'm still curious about how they make Isolated Soy Protein but, hey - it tastes good and it doesn't contain meat so it has to be okay to eat.

I've never had it. Never been a fan of jerky, myself.

I love the Texas Barbecue style and the Mesquite Lime. Actually I like all of them. But those are my favorites. Since like regular jerky, they are not really made for cooking but for a snack, I searched for recopies on line but I found none.

What kind of recipe are you looking for? I could probably cook something up for you using the Texas BBQ style - something like BBQ Style Sloppy Joes on whole grain rolls, potato salad, tossed green salad and sweet tea with vegan blueberry cobbler for desert.

This would be easy, and I am pretty sure it would work and your parents will like it. You could change the Sloppy Joes for Chili and rice.

Let me know and I'll work on a recipe.

3. No animals were harmed to make it.
