Depends on the strictness of the vegan. Many don't eat granulated sugar because it's filtered through animal bones (that used to be the case anyway), but one could also see it as akin to a leather belt in a factory wheel which packages the food also.
I guess what I'm asking is whether produce (fruits or vegs) that were grown in soil that has been enhanced by blood meal or bone meal is disqualified from being certified with the vegan logo as described here:
I would email them for clarification. It's great to see that organization still going. I volunteered for them when it was first started up out of one student's apartment in Berkeley.
