I have a spice and tea shop near me where I buy flavored salts and sugars. For example, I have Applewood smoked salt that I add to dishes that in a non-vegetarian world might benefit from the flavor added by bacon or ham. The smoked salt works really well to give it depth and heartiness.
Last time I bought a kalamata olive flavored salt that I used so far in a chickpea concoction. It was good.
I have coconut sugar and butterscotch sugar. I use them occasionally in my tea.
I have a variety of sweeteners and salts for different uses. I have no personal preference, it just depends on what I am cooking.

I also am I fan of the smoked salt. I also have lemon salt, a few Hawaiian salts, chili salts and my current versatile fave: umami salt. A specialty blend of my local spice shop: https://oaktownspiceshop.com/products/umami-sea-salt

Well, here's the one I patronize, on the other coast!
I was just about to bring up the Spice & Tea Exchange! My semi-local one has a raspberry sugar I adore.
Oh yum
