I buy mostly green bananas in two's or three's only. If they turn yellow with spots I won't eat them. I've tried freezing a couple to put in smoothies but so far they're still in the freezer. I also prefer smaller thinner bananas.

I only buy one or two bananas at a time because I don't like to waste food and know I won't eat them after the green is gone.

I do the exact same thing. I shop often enough that I can pick up 2 at a time and have them eaten before they go soft. I usually have a banana a day.

same here

Although I kinda gave up bananas about 7 months ago when I discovered how many carbs is in a single banana.

I used to eat at least 1 a day.

I kinda miss them alittle ... was one of my fav morning or evening snacks with a yogurt ( gave yogurt up also for sugar and carb reasons )

I like them a bit on the green side. They are less mushy that way.

I rarely eat bananas because I don't ever buy them. When I do buy them I end up just throwing them away because I don't eat them fast enough

But they are a good carb!

My BF eats one every morning but won't if they have any brown. He doesn't mind some green. I like them when they go right past yellow so it works for us!

Too bad they go from green to yellow in about 4.2 seconds

They surely do...but I try to buy greenest available, as I like them a bit tart.

My grandfather loved them when black and mushy

I don't buy them much anymore, for my potassium I indulge on avocados a lot. When I get the urge for a banana, I buy small ones and on the greenish side.

Ripened bananas, where the skins are covered with spots, contain antioxidants (including dopamine, etc) beneficial to health.

Green bananas contain resistant starch, which encourages the growth of good bacteria (a prebiotic).

Both types of bananas are good.
