CABBAGE SOUP


1/2 small head green or Savoy cabbage, chopped
3 small or 1 really large potato, skin on, scrubbed and chopped
1 can soup beans, any kind, liquid and all
1 can whole-kernel corn, liquid and all
1 8-oz can tomato sauce (or 1 c pizza sauce)
2 cartons vegetable stock
3 lg rib celery, chopped
2 lg or 4 smaller carrots, sliced
3 Tbsps instant minced onion
1/2 c rolled oats
3 veggie bouillon cubes
5 good shakes Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic granules or powder
1/4 tsp black pepper


4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.

I've made this recipe, below, a couple of times; it's very good.
