Default Simi Valley Events - The Santa Susana Model Railroad Club Swap Meet

Santa Susana Model Railroad Club Swap Meet (and open house):
The Santa Susana Model Railroad Club will have a swap meet at the Santa Susana Park (Pavilion) just west of the Santa Susana Railroad Depot. Model railroad equipment will be available for purchase from vendors. Railroaders interested in selling their own equipment should call (805) 526-0371. An open house will be held between 10am and 4pm at the Santa Susana Railroad Depot and Museum. The model railroad diorama will be in operation during the open house.

Did you ever love going to the drive in, now you still can, we broadcast the sound over your cars FM radio and you can watch the movie on our huge screen....its just like the old days but better....bring your kids and let them enjoy the old style drive in movie with the whole family. I've done this and it's pretty cool. A whole lot of people dress up in pioneer dress with ghostly makeup on and a docent takes you from place to place in the park and the actors perform little sketches. The lighting is spooky but the tales told about historical people are really interesting.

I highly recommend this.
