The link is broken.

Is it possible that some Oxnard students can attend Camarillo High? I know with a school of 2,400 students that not all of them live in Camarillo.

Pacifica High and Rio Mesa both have API Index scores of 750. Which is not terribly bad, but usually you want to live where you can kid can attend a school with an API index score of 800.

For instance, in Palmdale families living near Quartz Hill can have their kids attend Quartz Hills High.

Another instance, if you live in South Santa Maria you kids can attend high school at Ernest Righetti High.

The link works for me. Could you try it again.

Oxnard Union High School District >Business Services>BUSINESS SERVICES

Kids that attend Camarillo High live east of Arneill Road. This would include Mission Oaks a master planned community on the East side of Camarillo, it would also include the area around Santa Rosa road a development of home sites and communities outside of Camarillo, as well as Somis, just north east of Camarillo.

Those that live West of Arneill Road attend Rio Mesa High School. Geographically this would be about the mid point of the city. On the west side, the Rio Mesa kids, you would have those that live in Camarillo Estates, Spanish Hills, Sterling Hills, the Highland neighborhood in the hills north of Camarillo. It would also include homes along the Central, Las Posas, and Carmen exits coming off the 101.

I would guess that most kids from Camarillo High would tell you they live in Mission Oaks while those that attend Rio Mesa would tell you they live in Camarillo.

Their are also plans to build a new high school in Camarillo. The funding is available and the plans are in works to build a smaller school to house 700 kids.

Pacifica is a Magnet school and anyone from the community can ask to be placed there. They have a performing arts program and a culinary arts program.
