Have you noticed an extreme price in gas, or has your area stayed fairly steady?

Right now the lowest in Simi Valley is $3.85 per gallon at Costco, and the highest is at Fastlane for $4.05.

A secret to many:

The Shell station in Santa Paula off the 126 has consistently low gas prices (3.90 as of yesterday) but also offers 10 cents off with a Ralphs card (!), bringing regular to $3.80. There's never a line and no membership fees to boot!

Do all Shell stations give a discount with a Ralph's Card?

Only those that participate - but there are quite a few (select 'Grocer Rewards' as search criteria). So if you know of a Shell that prices aggressively (like the one in SP shared above) that also participates in the program, it's a double score.
