Potential joiner, here! Maybe we can disclose the eventual meetup location on PM so that only those who have publicly agreed to meet will show up. No moles, please. Thoughts?

I'm in! But, I have to keep it to somewhere in Simi Valley or Thousand Oaks. Only one job in the family right now and the cost of gas is limiting my excursions, LOL!

By the way, anyone into hiking? We are trying to get a regular hiking group together, maybe twice a month. Only evening I am not available is July 9th. My team will be doing an overnight paranormal investigation at Fort Tejon. WOOHOO!!!

Update...We would be willing to go a bit further to meet up. Hubby wants to come, too.

Don't know yet if I'll buy user_id a drink, but I will be on my best behavior if they come, LOL!

Good idea Winston! Cyanna, bring the hubby! Bring the lizards from your pictures too!! LOL!

I'm game...if Saturdays work...I am available just about every weekend in June and July. August I'm on a trip for a few weeks.

Cyanna, I am not a hiker but I am doing a 5K in July. I'm trying to get back into shape again..LOL, being off work those 7 weeks recovering nearly killed me!! Just got back in the gym last week..OUCH!!!

We have a quorum, of sorts.

LadyKLO, can we take the logistics to DM from here? Place, date & time seem to be the primary subjects of consideration. Saturdays don't seem to have objection, and the afternoon seems to be a good of a time as any; perhaps an early dinner would work.

I'd propose throwing 2-3 dates out there to get the highest amount of participation, trusting you to pick a venue and going from there.

I can flex to those dates in July. Any location in Ox/Ven is fine for me.

Oops! Just realized that I am also booked for July 16th. We are going to see a Queen tribute band in the park that night. Of course, any of you are welcome to join us for that, and its FREE!

So, that narrows it down to the 2nd, 23rd or the 30th. Maybe the latest date would be best for rgb?

July 23rd and July 30th seem to be winning.....is Thousand Oaks ok since we have folks from Ventura to the Conejo Valley (where is user_id???? are we on the ignore list??? LOL).

Possible places to meet up......(we can do a poll later on and put together some reasonable ideas):

Panera Bread on Moorpark at Janns Marketplace (they have a section in the back, I could always get there earlier and take over..I mean, kindly take the place by storm...)

Gardens of the World-I've never heard of this place until now...Gardens of The World might be interesting...

Ronald Reagan Library-Simi Valley...I've never been but wouldn't mind going

Chumash Indian Museum- T Oaks...I am finding a lot of stuff I didn't know...Chumash Indian Museum - Welcome to the Chumash Indian Museum website

We could have a late lunch too......

Buca di Beppo on Moorpark Road

If we do something in the Ventura/Oxnard/Camarillo areas:

Island Packers Dinner Cruise??? Anyone interested in that? July 30th??

Oxnard Salsa Festival is July 30th and 31st...I know I NEED to be there!
