where do you go to school when you live in Wood Ranch? Do they have open zoning for TO or Moorpark?

Wood Ranch is zoned for Simi Valley schools.

I live in Moorpark, but am working with several clients who are looking for a house in Wood Ranch. They are attracted to this area because of the reputation of Wood Ranch Elementary, parks and trails for their families.

Best way to gauge commuting traffic is to go to Google maps for directions. enter your "from" address and your "to" location and it'll give you the estimated travel time. DOUBLE that and you'll be there on time, if not a little early.

Before purchasing and/or renting, always do a search for the sex offenders in the area by checking out the CA Attorney General's website at California Megan's Law - California Department of Justice - Office of the Attorney General . You'll be surprised at how many are in Simi Valley (in both 93063 and 93065 zip codes).

Stay safe.

Or I could go through Box Canyon and take Saticoy.
Woodranch to Northridge oughta' be a cinch via Moorpark or Simi: Metrolink :: Ventura County Line.

Box Canyon on a daily commute? Hmm... once in a while for a change, maybe, but not daily.

This thread seems old but would like to see if anyone knows about fire insurance requirements there.
