Wich areas in Ventura would you recommend for a high school student who wants to live in an relatively big area with wealthy people and not dangerous?
And wich places should i defenetly not go too?

Near the beach and other attractions would be great, not boring areas with just old people and you know places like that.. Just fun areas as in the movies and series haha

From what you're describing, I'd suggest the Hobson Heights neighborhood in midtown Ventura. Most of the homes have ocean views and the high school is a short walk. The beach is a longer walk, but a walk nonetheless.

That said, there's not high density of "wealthy people" in Ventura and those that have wealth don't generally flaunt it around here. It's very much a laid-back, flip-flops-and-VW-Westfalias sortof place.

I'd steer clear of the westside neighborhood along Ventura Avenue (urban, low income socio-economic demographic) and the east end (boring, bland, 5-8 miles from the beach).

Another area to look at would be Pierpont, but there are more mixed elements at the beach than on the hill. That said, it's a tough thing to find a "fun area as in the movies" that is "not dangerous:" the two unfortunately tend to go together no matter the area.

Hmmm...I'm a little confused about the poster's need to be near wealthy people. Why the need to be near wealth? Unless the OP means that she wants to avoid a rough, gang-infested area.

I would think that if the OP is in high school that she may be too busy with school work and grades to have time to pursue the fun seen in movies and series.

Maybe she means a place in a presentable area?

Ventura, Camarillo, and Simi Valley are mostly middle class. Thousand Oaks is mostly middle class with some upper class. And Oxnard is mostly working class with some middle class.

Ventura is pretty liberal and is laid back as mentioned before. I think the city only has 2 big box centers and then the mall.
