The SoCal coast would have 100% perfect weather if it were not for May gray and June gloom.

West side of Camarillo gets more ocean breezes than the east side (especially in Santa Rosa Valley). Just the other day driving from one end of Camarillo to the other netted a temperature jump of 12 degrees and lower humidity. Santa Rosa valley is more like Conejo Valley weather.

Some days (off shore flow Santa Anas) it's hot and dry everywhere. Some days it's "June gloom" everywhere (except Mt. Pinos or Sandstone Peak!).

May gray is OK and June gloom, too. Variety is the spice of life, even in weather.

If that is the worst that could be said of the weather, there are no real issues at all.
