Curious...so to you, out of the 10 Ventura County cities, which one is?

It's true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some may find towns near the ocean more to their liking while some prefer other scenery.

So you're dodging the question, apparently

I will agree that Oxnard has some ugly areas. I will not agree that the entire city is ugly. Oxnard has a lot to offer. Not all people will like what it has to offer. I get that. Not everyone has to like it. I know plenty of people that bought first homes in Oxnard and then when they had some equity or got a better paying job, they moved on, many to Camarillo or Ventura, some to even Thousand Oaks or Simi. I would say a lot of people living in Camarillo used to live in Oxnard. Everyone wants to live in as nice a place as they can. I get that. For us we like living in Oxnard. My wife and I have spent our entire life here. Both of us were born in the city. For us we love it here. Yes we have talked about moving. It is tempting to sell the house and move to a lower cost of living place. Our kids though have their life here. We have our life here. The benefits of living near the ocean a place that we visit often is hard to give up.

Oxnard is vast and most of it is ugly. It's a real shame b/c it has the nicest climate of all the ventura cities, it could be the best place to live if it wasn't such an ugly grid. And so much petty crime as well.

Sorry. . . forgot about this category.

Uglier than Oxnard? Piru is one.

Main reason Ventura is more attractive is due to the hills.

Piru is technically not a city, and has only about 2,000 people. But it is rundown.

Whoops, my error! Will amend: Piru is a homely 'town'.
