I’ve been racking my brain trying to remember the restaurant that was at the Borderline location. I seem to remember it bring a prime rib place.

It was called Charlie’s (a fine steak house) when first built in the late 1960s or early 1970s.

Charley Brown's. There was one on Ventura Boulevard between De Soto and Winnetka too. I think the last I was there it was Todai all you can eat sushi? I just did a google maps and the building doesn't look like it's there anymore...

Before Borderline Bar & Grill Was Charley Brown's Restaurant, Thousand Oaks - Invisible Themepark

Ah, yes ... Charley Brown's. Such a long time ago. I have a lot of good memories, especially high school Prom night in the mid-1970s. I don't know what it was after closing down, except I was very disappointed. Can't remember if it remained vacant for awhile (?)

Yes, Charlie Browns. My last visit there was about a month before it closed. Hardly anyone there.

I think there was a Charlie Browns on Ventura between De Soto and Winnetka, then it turned into Todai sushi.
