As I sat on my front steps in the sun today without a jacket and looking at the melting snow and a few spots of bare grass, I suddenly began to hear geese. It took some doing to spot them as they were way up high in the express lane headed due north. The thermometer read 60 degrees in the shade and it stayed light until well after 6 p.m. Winter is softening here.

Buy a new one next year too, we won't have a cold Winter then either. lol

It did feel like Spring. I saw geese flying North recently, I've been seeing robins everywhere, and, of course, mosquitoes are out and about a little bit too. I'm still waiting to see if we get a 2 or 3 foot dumping of snow before it's over though...

If want the snow, let me take the plow off the Kubota. We'll get your 2 feet then ....lol. An early spring would be a nice end to this winter.

You're saying that as if it's a bad thing. After the snowfall you had last winter, I'd think this type of change would be welcome. Look at it this way - it's a godsend for gardeners and those who grow crops. You can get plants in the ground so much sooner and there will be a longer growing season.

Yes. The warm weather has been a godsend for us. We locked into a contract to purchase fewer gallons of propane than we normally do to keep our monthly payment lower and so far we're under budget.

I actually saw a whole bunch of bikes in front of the local coffee shop this morning on my way to work. I might even eat my lunch outside. It's 58 degrees in Stowe right now.
