You notice Bennington is not on there and
there is a generally a big difference between correctional facilities and state prisons and the kinds of people incarcerated in them and the seriousness of the crimes commited.
It might make a difference to some people if thinking of moving and the information should be as accurate as possible or corrected, if need be especially with this at the end of his statement.....

Vermont calls its state prisons Correctional Facilities. It's a euphemism. They're prisons. I should know, my father was a guard at one for 20 years.

You're right there's technically not a prison in Bennington, but there is a probation center there, Bennington is one of the towns known for a heavy ex-inmate population. Vermont Department of Corrections Town by Status Counts
