Bennington couple says home taken over by drug dealers - WCAX.COM Local Vermont News, Weather and Sports-
Prostitution Ring in Town of Bennington

Back to her old tricks. No pun intended. She has done this before and apparently didn't learn anything. I wonder whether she was given any substance abuse counseling the first time.

That first article makes me want to vomit because they're portraying her as victim of the big bag out-of-state drug dealers.

The journalist, everyone quoted in the article, and many in the comments section have lost their minds.

What ever happened to holding people accountable for their own bad decisions?

VPR just did a program on this

'Fraud, Force Or Coercion': Human Trafficking in Vt. | Vermont Public Radio

The attitude that the problem is being brought in from out of state is part of the Vermont denial. If only those big bad drug dealers hadn't targeted Vermont, we'd still have that lovely way of life. Phooey. All that has happened is that a certain element that would have sat around smoking dope and having babies has ramped it up a notch.

Until Vermont gets serious about tackling its economic problems, rampant welfare fraud, and actually punishes people for making poor choices that endanger their communities, this filth can only spread.

I agree with everything you've posted.

After reading the article, I'm wondering what artisanal bread has to do with human trafficking! LOL
