Did any of you Vermont readers attend your town meeting today? I unfortunately had to work, so I couldnt attend, but I did go vote in the primary and for the town items that were voted on via Australian ballot.

For those of you who are new to Vermont or are interested in Vermont, Town Meeting Day is held annualy on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in Marchh. Some towns have moved their town meetings to the Saturday before, or the Monday night before in hopes to get better attendance.

At town meeting, many town items are voted for via voice vote including budgets, equipment purchases, etc.

Could not attend the actual meeting due also to work, but voted for whatever its worth yesterday morning. The more pressing concern this coming morning will be if we have any effects of the freezing rain. On the way home from work at midnight everything up my way was starting to glaze over pretty good so I am assuming that limbs and powerlines will bear the toll by morning if the forecast reamins correct.
