I was in Weeks School myself. Dates are lost in my memory, but I will not forget Mr. Burrows who ran McDonough cottage.. Get caught smoking and you had to run 100 laps from the swing set at our cottage down to Gram cottage back stop and sit in front of your locker for a week for being on D-Class for smoking.. I also remember Mr. Bass.. The summer 2 week camping.

Anyone who was in Weeks School and wants to contact me.. My email is - madwizard56@gmail.com

i was the last resident to leave weeks school when they shut their doors. I am desperatly looking to reunite with those who shared the weeks school experience. It seemed we are all lost souls now

Default Weeks school

I was at weeks school in the late 70s when they decided to close the place. There wasn't a lot of drugs and abuse. We got along pretty good with the staff but towards the end there was some violence escalating among the kids one staff member was killed in a car chase and another one hospitalized after a riot. But for a lot of kids it was better than their home life
